The Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge in Cornish, NH was built in 1866, and is the longest remaining covered bridge in the United States. Spanning almost 450 feet, it is also the longest two-span covered bridge in the world. The bridge was owned by a private company that operated it as a toll bridge, until the state of New Hampshire bought it in 1936.
